WE ARE SAINTS ON MISSION

Saints on Mission is an inter-denominational Christian Evangelical Organization that is engaged in conveying God’s love by the proclamation of the Gospel of Our Lord Jésus Christ in Uganda. Currently SOM is working with communities of Nebbi and Zombo of the West Nile region and building discipleship communities in Mukono Seeta surburbs in Uganda.

WHAT WE DO

Evangelism

All believers are mandated biblically to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the people who have not heard of this good news and present an opportunity for the hearers to respond.

Discipleship

The need for well-trained, biblical, wise, godly leadership is urgent and cannot be overemphasized, it is clear that without solid discipleship, training, and godly leadership, the church weakens.

PASTORAL CARE

Sustainable livelihood for pastors is key. Like the message and messenger are one, we can't separate pastoral care from the Pastor if fruitful discipleship is expected. Its important that the pastors is....

Doctrine

Areas of Operation

  • We BELIEVE in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We BELIEVE that Jesus Christ was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, was true God and true man, existing in one person and was without sin.
  • We BELIEVE in His representative and substitutionary sacrifice, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Heavenly Father, His present life as Lord of all, High Priest, and Advocate, and His imminent personal return in power and glory.
  • We BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit indwells and gives life to believers, enables them to understand and apply the Scriptures, empowers them for godly living, and equips them for service and witness.
  • We BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original documents, fully trustworthy, and the final authority in all matters of faith and life in Christ Jesus.
  • We BELIEVE that each member of the human race is fallen, sinful and lost, that the shed blood of Jesus Christ provides the only ground for forgiveness of sins and justification to all who receive Him by faith, and that only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can they become children of God.

Kaya is found in Zombo District (North western Region) is a town located in Uganda about 180 miles (290 km) north-west of Kampala, the country’s capital town. Zombo is a new district divided from Nebbi district. It borders the Democratic Republic of Congo on the west.
